  1. About us
    • Thank you for visiting The Interlink Foundation. We are a registered charity in England and Wales with number 1079311 and a company limited by guarantee with number 3852756.

    • By using our site, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions of use and that you agree to comply with them.  If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not use our site.
    • Please note we may update our terms and conditions from time to time.

  2. Our Site
    • Our site provides (a) general information about the work of The Interlink Foundation and the services, products and support we provide (b) general guidance and information that may of interest to community organisations  and (c) policies, procedures and other documents which you may want to consider using for your organisation.
    • Please note that the Information and Policies are subject to the terms of the licence in paragraph 6 below.
    • The Information and Policies are provided to individuals or employees acting on behalf of communal organisations, who are not acting as consumers. If you are not acting on behalf of a communal organisation, and may be a consumer, then you must contact us directly at [email protected] before you use our site.
    • The Information and Policies are only intended to be used by other communal organisations and not for any one using them for commercial purposes.
  3. Access to the site
    • We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue or change all or any part of our site without notice. We will not be liable to you if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
  4. Your account and password
    • In order to access certain Information and purchase certain Policies, you will need to enter your username and password. You should treat your password and account information as confidential and you must not disclose it to any third party.  If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your password, you should notify us by email.
    • We have the right to disable any account or password, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
  5. Intellectual property rights
    • We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it (including but not limited to the Information and Policies).  Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
  6. Licences
    • We hereby grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access, download, print and use the whole or any part of the Information and/or Policies, subject to these terms and conditions.
    • The Information and Policies are intended for your internal use, and you agree not to use the Information and/or Policies for any resale purposes.
  7. How to pay and delivery
    • The price for each Policy is as set out on our site.  We reserve the right to change our prices from time to time.
    • Payment in full for each Document is due prior to download (and for each occasion on which it is downloaded).  You may pay for Documents using a debit or credit card.
    • [Documents will be delivered to you in PDF form, to the email address attached to your account.  If, for any reason, we are unable to deliver the Documents to you, we will notify you via email and arrange for a refund.]
  8. No reliance
    • We use all reasonable care and skill in the preparation of the Information and Policies.  While we endeavour to make sure these are useful to you, the appropriateness of the documentation provided and the applicability of the Policies depends upon the circumstances of your individual communal organisation and its activities.
    • Although we have made every effort to ensure that the Policies are up to date and comply with the current law and best practice, we cannot and are not providing you with any legal advice and if you are in any doubt as to whether the Policy you have purchased is suitable for use by your organisation we recommend that you seek independent legal advice.
    • The Information and Policies are made available to you on the date set out on the document, and so the content may be out of date at any point in time from that date.  We are under no obligation to update the Information or Policies or to notify you if the law or best practice changes.
    • We do not guarantee that our site, or any of the Information or Policies will be free from errors or omissions and your use of this site and reliance on its contents is entirely at your own risk.
    • To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations or other terms which may apply to our site or any content on it, whether express or implied.
  9. Rights and remedies
    • If you consider that any Policy does not meet your expectations, please notify us with full details of your concern.  If we agree, we will (at our own cost) repair or replace the Policy (as appropriate) or, if not possible, agree a reduction in price (up to a full refund).
    • The remedies set out above in paragraph 1 are your only remedies in respect of a breach of paragraph 9.1.
  10. Limitation of our liability
    • Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
    • We accept no liability (whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise) for (i) any loss, damage or expense of any kind (including without limitation, loss of income or revenue, loss of profit, loss of business and loss of goodwill, and all other direct, indirect or consequential loss and damage) and (ii) claims by third parties; in each case, as a result of or in connection with your use of or reliance upon the Information or the Policies or any other information on our website.
  11. Termination
    • We may terminate your licence under paragraph 6 on written notice to you if you commit a material or persistent breach of these terms and conditions.
    • Upon termination (for any reason) your licence under paragraph 1 shall cease immediately and you must cease all use of the Information and the Policies.
  12. General
    • We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses and you are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs and platform in order to access our site. You should use your own virus protection software.
    • You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected with our website
    • You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.  You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
    • Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only.  We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.
    • These terms and conditions (and any other document referred to in them) constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersedes and extinguishes all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between us, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter. You acknowledge that in entering into these terms and conditions you do not rely on any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in this these terms and conditions.
  13. Applicable law
    • These terms of use, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
